Facial RejuvenationRestylane

A type of injectable filler, RESTYLANE is a crystal-clear, non-animal, biodegradable gel based on a natural substance called hyaluronic acid. The gel is injected into the skin in tiny amounts with a very fine needle. RESTYLANE can help fill in facial lines and creases, temporarily restoring a smoother, more youthful-looking appearance. When injected beneath the skin, these fillers plump up creased and sunken areas of the face. They can also add fullness to the lips and cheeks. The result is instantaneous and produces a long-lasting, natural enhancement, gentle and safe to your skin.

Our Technique

RESTYLANE treatments are done in the office under local anesthesia. Dr. Hunsicker injects the RESTYLANE gel into the skin in tiny amounts with a very fine needle. Common areas to be treated are the lips, the nasolabial folds (the lines between the nose and the corner of your mouth) and other static wrinkles (wrinkles not caused by active muscle movement). After RESTYLANE treatments you can expect some swelling and tenderness that is usually handled by Tylenol, elevation and ice packs. The swelling will subside in 1-2 days and patients can return to work. RESTYLANE treatments typically last 12-18 months.

As with any cosmetic procedure, complications from RESTYLANE, although rare, do exist. The specific risks, as well as suitability, for any given individual cannot be determined until the time of consultation. While we hope this information is helpful, it can not substitute for a consultation. We invite you to contact us at 720-283-2500 or online to schedule a consultation with Dr. Hunsicker. Together, you can determine if you are a good candidate for RESTYLANE as well as specific risks and complications that may occur.
